Code of Conduct
EMERSE incorporates a set of core values and operating principles that are integral to our organization and provide a foundation for the work that we have done and will continue to do.
The following values and principles outlined in our Code of Conduct specify how we work with each other, our users, our partner institutions and all others:
Core Values
- Caring - treat everyone with dignity, kindness and respect
- Diversity - include people from a range of different social and ethnic backgrounds, different genders, sexual orientations, etc. to bring forth a variety of experiences and ideas
- Inclusion - maintain an environment where everyone has a sense of belonging, and a voice that is heard

- Integrity - operate with the highest ethical standards, including transparency in words and actions
